In the first five months of this year, rubber tire exports fromDongying,Shandongprovince, totaled 6.95 billion yuan, up 15.4% year on year, and accounting for 53% of the city’s overall export value.
Shandong Changfeng Tire, Shandong Xingyuan International Trade, and Shandong Jinyu Industrial were the top three rubber tire exporters in Dongying in Jan.-May, with their export value reaching 1.22 billion yuan, 869 million yuan, and 655 million yuan, jointly accounting for 21% of the city’s total export value.
Jinyu Industrial replaced the position of Hengfeng Rubber & Plastic in the ranking in Jan.-May.
In the first four months of this year, the top three tire exporters in Dongying were Changfeng Tire, Xingyuan International Trade, and Hengfeng Rubber & Plastic, with the last one’s export value at 588 million yuan.
Notably that in May, Changfeng Tire’s export value was 443 million, much more than Xingyuan International Trade’s record of 164 million yuan.
Driven by Changfeng Tire, tire export value of Dongying in May topped 1.58 billion yuan, higher than the city’s monthly average.
If the momentum has been kept, the export business of Changfeng Tire will exceed that of other enterprises’. But it is unlikely to maintain large export volume as such in the long run.
Both Changfeng Tire and Hengfeng Rubber & Plastic are located in Guangrao county and they have a same investor.
