Putian city, located in Fujian province of southeast China, produced about 1.21 million pieces of rubber tire covers in April, down 17.5 percent from a year earlier.
In January-April this year, Putian produced 4.85 million pieces of rubber tire covers, down 8 percent compared to the same period of 2015.
In the first quarter of 2016, Putian produced 3.64 million pieces of rubber tire covers, down 4.3 percent year on year.
