Rubber on a skid on Nov.15

Spot rubber resumed its downward journey in the absence of quantity buyers on Wednesday. RSS-4 declined to ₹125.50 (126.50) a kg, according to the traders and the Rubber Board. The grade weakened to ₹122.50 (123.50) as reported by the dealers. November futures closed at ₹126.50 (125.71), December at ₹125.15 (125.82), January at ₹126 (126.65) and February at ₹127.23 (129.22) on the NMCE. RSS-3 (spot) dropped to ₹104.38 (105.81) at Bangkok. November futures declined to ₹104.31 (108.54) on the TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 125.50 (126.50); RSS-5: 122.50 (123.50); ISNR 20: 107.50 (107.50) and Latex (60% drc): 82.50 (82.50).
